The workman removed the back chain and hook from the back door, saying I would not need it any more. However, I do not feel at all safe or comfortable without this back chain. To me, the lock appears very frail, and easily accessible. With the dark evenings coming soon, and as I live alone, I would really feel a lot more secure with the chain there. Is it possible for you to refit the chain on the back door? The property is due a new front door, sometime in the future also (via VIVID Housing). I am home most days until about 11.15am, after which I have to leave for work. So an early call would be best. Yours faithfully, Ms. H.
